Ingredients:
½ cup vegetable oil⠀
1 cup white sugar⠀
3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour⠀
3 eggs ⠀
1 tablespoon baking powder⠀
1 tablespoon anise extract⠀
Directions:
-Preheat oven at 375⠀
-Mix the sugar, eggs, anise and oil together then add the baking powder and flour
-Once dough is well combined divide into 2 equal pieces
-Roll out into the length of your baking pan and flatten each into a 1/2 inch tall by 4 inch long rectangle. ⠀
-Bake each rectangle for 25 minutes or until golden brown⠀
-Let everything cool for a few minutes then make 1/2 inch slices into cooled cookie loaf.⠀
-Flip cut sides up and bake again for 5 minutes on each side, toasting them⠀ ⠀
